Pampered Parrots Rescue & Aviary has it's name for a reason!

 If your visiting this page, then I'm sure your aware of the controversy that lies beneath breeding and rescuing. Did you know that most rescues DO NOT support the pet industry or having companion birds as pets? Most rescues discriminate against Breeders and the selling of sweet handfed babies. What a SHAME to be against the very thing that you are in the business of rescuing.  I can assure you, you won't find a rescue where the founder, owner, or care taker doesn't have a bird of their own, yet you'll find them against it! I have to debate this theory.

Pampered Parrots is a two fold organization. First, we are a rescue to meet the needs of companion birds. For what ever reason you need to rehome, surrender, or give up your bird(s), the rescue is in place to do just that. We in "no way" breed your companion birds.

Second: We are a Aviary as well as rescue.  The Aviary has contributed to the cost of the rescues expenses.  Our board has agreed to set up a few breeder pairs. We chose breeders that are seldom bought into rescues, and are not known for having behavioral & plucking problems. 

We are nothing like a regular breeding program. Our few breeders are vet checked, they are only allowed a nest box twice a year, they have toys in their cage, and they are allowed out-of-cage time along with the rest of our flock.

When the pairs have a clutch, we pull them at two weeks and hand feed the babies. They are sold for a very minimum cost along with a baby photo, care sheet, hatch certificate, and life time free nail and wing trimming. 100% of their proceeds are deposited into our rescue fund and goes to give the highest quality care to your birds. We DO NOT MAKE ANY PROFIT off our breeders.
